Keep going!

You set a goal for yourself. At first, you feel an excitement and a tingling sensation in your stomach just thinking how wonderful it will be when that goal materializes.

You start taking steps with enthusiasm. You walk like a storm and suddenly ... it turns out that to achieve your goal you need to do something that is not particularly convenient, comfortable, or easy for you. There are problems. Life happens. One adversity, the second ... You start to say to yourself: "well, what's the point? It's fine as it is." You're letting go ...

It's mid-February. I think many of you have just gotten to a point where there are obstacles in the way of making your New Year's resolutions. Decisions, goals, and the realization of dreams hang by a thread. You run out of motivation, determination ...

I have a solution! Or in fact 10. How to stay on the right path and not let go.

1. First and foremost, it is the goal you have set for yourself.

The goal must excite you. It must evoke emotions in you ... If it is "too" big and you are worried that you will not achieve it ... Break it into smaller ones! Remember - even when climbing eight-thousanders, you have to make camps along the way, stops during which you catch your breath and gain strength for further hiking.

Formulate the goal in accordance with the SMART principle. The goal must be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and limited in time.

Stop thinking about the goal. Write it down. You won't have to remember everything. Thanks to the record, you will have clarity of actions.

2. Time.

Plan time. You are busy, that is beyond question. Such times. If you plan your activities, it will be easier for you to navigate a new path towards your goal. You're not going to be in the dark. Working on a new goal usually takes effort. Therefore, prioritize the goal, and plan activities related to its implementation as the first and most important to be carried out. You will not get lost this way!

3. Find out and celebrate!

If you have divided the road to your "eight-thousander" into several camps - regularly check where you are on the trail! Check your progress. Are you within the time frame you have set for yourself?

Remember to appreciate every progress! Everyone! Regardless of whether small or large ... The celebration will give you positive energy, this will release endorphins, and they will give you the motivation to move towards the next camp on the trail!

4. Recognize the cause of your goal.

Life happens, we have already figured it out. Various complications on the way to the goal are completely normal. Sometimes you need to take two steps back to get a better perspective. It will be easier for you to stay on your way to your goal if you know "why" you want to reach your goal! What will it give you? What will change?

5. Pleasures.

What helps you stay positive? What gives you a sense of security and makes things are going in the right direction? Make a habit of repeating these behaviors, activities that keep you on the right path.

6. Visualize.

What will happen when you reach the goal? What will your reality look like? Can you visualize it? Bring the images in front of your eyes? How do you feel? What emotions are playing in you? What's happening? Look for visualization techniques that will help you align with your goal. This is a powerful method!

7. Space.

Make sure you have a free, clean space ... Get rid of everything from your surroundings that does not serve your purpose, that does not bring you closer to it. Get rid of distractions ... in every aspect. Physical, mental ...

8. Responsibility partner.

I am responsible for achieving my goal ... But sometimes when I set a goal that requires me to take steps outside my comfort zone often, I try to find support from other people who support me in achieving my goal. Sometimes the mere question of "did you do this or that" allows you to stick to your prescribed plan of action.

9. Touch up the crown with tenderness.

When something goes wrong, you stumble, you fall ... Don't torture yourself! Don't give the scene to an inner critic who keeps telling you that you have "fail again". Remember one thing, even if there are obstacles, even if complications continue - this is only temporary. Everything will change soon. Don't stop, don't give up.

10. Get inspired.

Stay positive about your goal at all times. Look for inspiration. The world is full of stimuli that will keep you in positive vibrations.
