REASON

The reason, one of the "mental muscles". The reason is why we do something. For me, the most controversial. What is the reason? A term that has been the subject of analysis by philosophers and thinkers since ancient times. Descartes, Kant, and Moore bent over him. Usually, the very word "reason" is necessarily accompanied by the adjective "sound". Descartes claimed that it is a special power of the mind thanks to which the material that is delivered to the mind appears uniform. In later times, it came to be understood as the ability to make sober, clear judgments. Judgments that were not biased either by over-theorizing or over-skepticism. Descartes equated reason with the mind. According to him, the reason is something that everyone has and which gives them the same ability to distinguish truth from falsehood. Kant discussed reason, and Moore wrote. However, in every way of its understanding, there was an extremely important element of logic. Today, also, when I read the reading of contemporary thinkers, I often read that reason is mental strength ... which orders to put aside all life passion and follow the strict rules of logic. This is where my rebellion is born! They teach us this type of reasoning in the process of classical school education. Forget about what you are passionate about - everything you do has to be reasonable, rational, logical! In fact, for me, thinking based on reason is much more than just relying on the analysis of component factors, combining them, and drawing conclusions. Your mind is an amazing tool. Do you know how it actually works? Did you know that there are two parts to it - conscious and subconscious? Conscious, this is what is logical, sensible, rational ... Thanks to it you can either build a fortune if you use it the right way, or it can get you into a whole spectrum of problems. This is the part of you that thinks and can reject or accept absolutely any idea you give it. There is a second part - the subconscious. It functions in every single cell of your body. Do you know what's amazing about it? Any thought that the conscious part of your mind gives you - your subconscious will accept it. It cannot reject it. Everything that is recognized as truth in the consciousness - in the subconscious mind will simply be true. One of the greatest philosophers and promoters of positive thinking wrote that "the subconscious mind knows no jokes" so you should be very careful what the conscious mind suggests to it. I totally agree with that. Look at it this way - the thoughts you consciously choose and imprint in your subconscious mind are transformed into actions you take, which in turn lead you directly to the results you achieve. This is where reason comes in. It determines our thoughts. Reason makes us choose what we choose, take such and no other actions, compare, analyze, evaluate the ideas that appear in our head. Do you know what the enormous strength of the mind is? The fact that YOU decide what is reasonable and what is not! It is YOU who can decide what to think about a given topic. This is how I see reason - the ability to really think. I will give you an example that will surely seem absurd at first (because its analysis will be passed through tens of thousands of filters functioning in your rational mind - but I am asking you to sit down for a moment and try to think about it in the manner described by me). Suppose you have just read in a highly respected and prestigious trade press that your industry is facing a recession. The market is terrible, all economic indicators clearly show that a gigantic crisis is looming. I am convinced that literally a moment after you read it, you felt fear and thinking "I have to prepare for difficult times, tighten your belt, and survive somehow. It will be bad." And now it will be controversial because I will tell you that if you consciously and correctly use your reason - you will make a firm decision, which will be: "I will not participate in the recession". Proper use of your reason allows you to think, not react. Instead of unknowingly reacting to what someone else has said or done, or what circumstances have happened to you (or may happen to you - e.g. in connection with forecasts), you can think. You know well that the vast majority of people will react. When they get information, the first thing they do is ask themselves whether it is good or bad. If they find it bad (as in the aforementioned recession), they automatically begin to dream up fatalistic visions of the future. Do it differently! How? When you get a piece of information, instead of wondering if it's positive or negative, think differently:

- does the information I received influence where I am going, or does it influence the achievement of my goal, assumption? Or maybe it will lead me in a completely different direction? - will I be more effective with this information, or can I be more creative? When there is a positive thought, positive information from the environment, you perceive it in a way that YOU decide about. Say the same thing you can do with negative information. You can choose to reject it! Get her out of your mind! Decide to build a beautiful reality, full of happiness and joy. This is the correct use of reason!
